LandAid has announced that funds raised from its inaugural LandAid Midlands 10K will support local charity St Basils to convert an empty property into a home for 18 young people at risk of homelessness. LandAid is calling on runners of all abilities to tackle youth homelessness in the Midlands.
A ground breaking ceremony for LandAid House took place on Wednesday July 19, marking the beginning of construction for a state-of-the-art building near Old Street to provide 146 bedrooms for young people at risk of becoming homeless.
