Yorkshire Marathon 2026

The Yorkshire Marathon has been a monster success since day one. In many ways, it’s the jewel in White Rose County’s sporting crown.

We like to think every element of The Yorkshire Marathon is charged with Yorkshire Spirit. Since the inaugural event in 2013, the event has gotten bigger and bigger.  Every year, thousands of runners of all abilities take to its truly breathtaking course.

The Yorkshire Marathon is one of the UK’s most-loved running events, known for its scenic route, brilliant organisation and famously warm Yorkshire welcome.

Starting and finishing in the historic city of York, the course takes you through picturesque countryside and vibrant local communities, with incredible crowd support cheering you on every mile. It’s a flat, well-supported route that’s perfect whether you’re chasing a PB or ticking off your first marathon.

The 2026 event takes place on Sunday 18 October.

By running for LandAid, you’ll be raising vital funds to help end youth homelessness across the UK, turning every mile into real impact for young people who need it most.
