With the FA Cup in full flow and the Six Nations just days from kick-off, LandAid’s partners have been getting into the spirit of all things sport.
Chancerygate laced up their boots for a competitive encounter on the football field last week, teaming up with fellow investors and developers to pit their wits against a group of young agents.
Following months of gruelling gym regimes, the players were well prepared for a tough cup tie on a frosty January morning.
The Agents took an early lead, putting four past their opponents in quick succession. However as fatigue began to kick in, the Developers & Investors staged a stirring late comeback, clinching two goals and threatening for a third. As the match entered its concluding moments, the Agents found just enough strength to hold off the visitors’ attack, sealing a well-earned 4-2 victory.
Competitive differences were soon set aside, with both sets of players coming together to relive the game’s highlights and count up their donations to LandAid.
We were delighted to receive £140 from the event. A big thank you to Chancerygate for organising. Bring on the rematch next year!
And for your next property fixture, look no further than JLL‘s Young Surveyors Football Tournament (date TBC) in support of LandAid.
Or if rugby is more your cup of tea, AGL are running a Surveyors Six Nations Fantasy League. Build your team on the ESPN website and then simply donate £5 to LandAid via the AGL Justgiving page. There’s prizes for the top three teams at the end of the tournament and of course, bragging rights amongst your friends. You haven’t got long to sign up as registration closes just before the England v Wales match on Friday. Game on!
Psst! Did we mention that places for the LandAid Summer Run go live next week? Keep your eyes on the event page to guarantee your place on the starting line.
