Choose a StreetSmart restaurant for your Office Christmas Party
This year has flown by and with Christmas party season round the corner I have found myself already daydreaming about fabulous festive treats.
Last year, the luxury of being able to go out, eat good food and celebrate with friends and family was something that I so dreadfully missed. And I know the hospitality industry missed us too. It was an extremely challenging time for restaurants.
That is why this year, more so than ever, I personally plan to take full advantage of this chance to get out and support the recovery of the hospitality industry.
Alongside this, LandAid is continuing our committed partnership with StreetSmart. The initiative sees a voluntary £1 donation added to the diners’ bill at participating restaurants during November and December, with every penny going to support homelessness projects across the UK.
With over 420 restaurants dotted throughout the country, 44 with Michelin stars, there has never been more choice! All funds raised stay in the locality of the restaurants – so for funds raised in Bristol restaurants, these support homeless young people in the South West, and the same right across the UK.

All money raised through dining out this winter will contribute to achieving impactful social change, supporting those most vulnerable, living on the streets and in unsuitable accommodation.
Since its foundation, StreetSmart has raised over £10 million. Over 50 homelessness charities now benefit each year, funding services like housing advice, the creation of beds, and training and job support.
I hope that we can all support in making this StreetSmart and LandAid’s most successful year yet and regain that sense of togetherness when dining out that we lost in 2020!
