A partnership of impact
Together, we have built a meaningful partnership rooted in action and purpose, supporting some of our key programmes.
Last year, Avison Young contributed funding to the several projects within our Routes out of Homelessness Grant’s programme. Within this project umbrella, Avison Young supported seven different charities, delivering a mix of capital, move-on, and safe places projects. Collectively, this work has contributed to improving the lives of over 150 young people, offering not just shelter, but stability, confidence, and a foundation for the future.
Some of these included:
- Aberdeen Foyer, providing emergency housing and long-term support, including access to supported accommodation and personal development coaching.
- Northampton YMCA, providing move-on spaces for young care leavers, helping to support them through the transition from the care system to independent living.
- LATCH (Leeds Action To Create Homes), helping the refurbishment of derelict and run-down houses within the city to provide supported housing for young people.
These projects have changed the lives of young people, like Sade
- LandAid’s Employability Programme
This year, Avison Young are backing our Employability Programme, an initiative helping young people facing homelessness to build the skills, resilience, and connections needed to access meaningful employment. Through funding and collaboration, we’re supporting the development of innovative
training resources and toolkits that empower both businesses and young people, as well as supporting projects that are directly helping young people to access employment or training opportunities, through Employability Grants.
These initiatives will support their broader ESG strategy by creating pathways to housing, skills, and employment, and reinforcing our commitment to building inclusive, resilient communities.
Together, we’re building a future where no young person is left without a place to call home, and we’re just getting started.
