TT Group are another of LandAid’s longest standing partners. Since 2013 they have stepped up to the challenge and led by example, demonstrating true commitment towards our mission to end youth homelessness.

Since 2013, TT Group has raised an outstanding £173,000, funding that has directly changed the lives of countless young people through grants provided to our charity partners. TT Group has been eager participants in our events, most notably Race for LandAid and the LandAid Trek, our annual Christmas Card Alternative Campaign and esteemed Patrons Network.

Race for LandAid has become a permanent fixture in the businesses’ calendar. Throughout the years, we have seen countless TT Group runners lace up for some friendly competition, proving that every stride matters when rallied behind our mission.

Last year, the team raised over £500 in donations for the event. We look forward to seeing the team again this year at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

One of the great things about Race for LandAid is being able to pick the distance you run. Although I choose my safe 5k, we had others in the team running both 10k and the half marathon – we love the flexibility and diversity the race brings to the team – and it’s a great course to run as well

Always up for a challenge

TT Group’s team does not fear a challenge. Last year Cassie and Alex packed their bags and joined us in the Peak District from London to trek for change. This isn’t an easy challenge, but the team rose to the occasion yet again, raising a stellar £6,000.

“Alex and I are incredibly proud to have completed the 26.4-mile route across the Edale Skyline in just 10.5 hours. Between us, we racked up an astonishing 115,671 steps and every single one was for this fantastic cause.

To add a bit of fun, we ran a step-count guessing competition within TT Group. Our colleague Tom Harling won with the closest guess of 117,500 steps.

One of the most moving parts of the experience was hearing from Yedidya, who shared her powerful personal story of homelessness. Her courage and honesty brought home the real impact of the work LandAid does and reminded everyone why events like this are so important.

And if you’re wondering whether this is a one-time achievement, think again – Alex and I are already planning the next trek and recruiting more to join us!”
