Property leaders swap meetings for miles in LandAid challenge

Property leaders from across the North West region are hitting the pavements of MediaCity to raise money for LandAid.

Many of the region’s big names are already signed up for the annual Race for LandAid North West 10k on 4 September, with representatives from Urban Splash, event sponsors Hill Dickinson, Muse, Colliers, gunnercooke LLP, Scarborough Group, Caddick Developments, and DWMR Architects, each taking on distances of either 5k or 10k.

All funds raised will come to LandAid. We bring the property industry together to support organisations delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future. Through our unique network of corporate partners, we invest funding and expertise where it can make a lasting impact.

At LandAid we help to support the UK’s 118,134 young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness; in 2024 in the North West alone there were 14,870 young people – a 7% increase on the previous year.

LandAid events are a great way for property peers to step out of the boardroom and into the community, showing their commitment to tackling youth homelessness. Every step – whether it’s run or walked – brings us closer to supporting young people who desperately need a safe place to call home. I’d urge everyone across the sector to take on the challenge if they’re able.

We are thrilled to sponsor this event and we very much hope that we are able to raise more money than ever before for the vital services the charity provides to 16 - 24 year olds. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the North West Corporate and Real Estate community join forces again for a great cause.
