Stepping Up to End Youth Homelessness

On Saturday 14 September, the property industry came together for the LandAid Trek, raising an impressive £93,000 to support our mission to end youth homelessness. A total of 127 participants from across the property sector gathered to take on a 27km journey through the stunning Welsh Black Mountains and virtually across the UK.

The property industry came out in full force ready to take on the challenge. Our participants navigated through amazing views and vistas, whilst raising funds for vulnerable young people who don’t have a place to call home.

The funds raised during the LandAid Trek will directly support projects across the UK including   providing housing and vital services to young people experiencing homelessness.

This year’s trek is crucial in supporting LandAid’s ongoing work to tackle the root causes of youth homelessness. Whether it’s providing essential housing, wrap around support or helping young people gain their first steps towards independence, the funds generated through the Trek will have a lasting impact on countless lives.

What spoke to me about the LandAid Trek is that I love the way LandAid go upstream to solve the problems before they become problems. They make such a huge impact in local communities; we have worked closely with St Basils in Birmingham to build 52 homeless units which will have a really significant effect. I’m really proud to take part in today’s trek

A Special Thanks to Trident Building Consultancy

We are incredibly grateful to Trident Building Consultancy for sponsoring the virtual the LandAid Trek. Their generous backing allowed participants who couldn’t join the physical event to take part remotely, ensuring even more property professionals could engage with and contribute to this important cause. By enabling the virtual option, Trident Building Consultancy extended the reach of the trek and boosted the overall impact of the event.

Their involvement  was a key element in making this year’s event a huge success.

Trident is delighted to be the virtual sponsor of the first ever LandAid Trek! We are proud to partner with LandAid and do our bit to raise awareness of youth homelessness. We hope our support, along with others in the industry, will help LandAid provide opportunities all over the UK for young people experiencing homelessness to thrive.

Also, thank you to Oxford Properties…

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Oxford Properties for the Trek celebration dinner. After a challenging day on the trails, this allowed participants to come together for a well-deserved evening of celebration.

“Oxford Properties first supported LandAid when our team took on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge last summer – raising funds in aid of its mission to end youth homelessness. Now a proud LandAid partner, it is only fitting that we’re part of LandAid’s inaugural trek sponsorship team.” – Oxford Properties
