This time last year over 800 of you were gathered in Regent's Park, ready to get out of the starting blocks at the 22nd annual LandAid 10K.
The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund has given out over half a million pounds in its first month to youth homelessness charities across the country. LandAid, the property industry charity, is hoping to raise and distribute £1m in emergency funding in the coming months.
On 7 April, we launched the LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund. We told you something simple: youth homelessness hasn’t stopped. We need your help more than ever. And you listened.
The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund, launched on 7 April 2020, has given out its first grants to frontline charities. LandAid, the property industry charity, distributed over £100,000 to 12 charities in this first round of funding.
Despite all that is going on, last week ended on a high for me as we gave out our first round in emergency funding to charities across the UK. Thanks to the support of the industry, our campaign partners and all of you who have taken on ridiculous challenges for us in the past few weeks, we were able to give out over £100,000 in our first round of funding.
