We at LandAid are hugely pleased to announce our newest media partner, Infabode!
We're really pleased to announce our fifth Ambassador of the Month, Emma Murray from Palmer Capital! We selected Emma for her fantastic work in her time as one of our London Lead Ambassadors, including her outstanding efforts in Palmer Capital's annual Money Maker Challenge which raises enormous totals for LandAid every year. She also massively helped in the organisation of our LandAid Ambassador Christmas Drinks, which Palmer Capital kindly hosted at their offices.
Last week our new Head of Programmes & Impact, Sean Tizzard, joined the LandAid team. We're so excited to have Sean on board, and his first week was a busy one which saw him travelling around the UK, learning more about our grant programme, our charity partners and some of the amazing work we've been able to help fund across the country.
I work for Goldcrest Land. We're a small but enthusiastic team, with a huge amount of energy, and I knew the guys would immediately get on board with any fundraising events or ideas. After some initial disappointment at having missed the chance to compete at Construction Rocks (bring on 2019), LandAid Day was earmarked as our first venture.
We're really pleased to announce our fourth Ambassador of the Month, Sophie Walker from Gerald Eve LLP! We selected Sophie in part because of her fantastic efforts in organising a treasure hunt in Manchester, smashing her fundraising target and raising valuable funds to end youth homelessness.
A few weeks ago I spent the weekend in the Lake District- it was lovely. Beautiful, quiet and I ate a cracking Thai curry that was cooked on an open fire. But I wasn't just here for a jolly, I was there as part of LandAid's second Young Voices project, with nine young people who have experienced homelessness and are part of St Basils Youth Voice group.
LandAid today launches their search for a new Chair of the Board of Trustees. LandAid's current Chair, Liz Peace CBE, will step down in January after three years leading the property industry's charity. LandAid is now looking for a senior property leader to provide strategic direction and leadership.
We're really pleased to announce our third Ambassador of the Month, Kitty Kent from PwC! We selected Kitty in part because of her amazing work for this year's LandAid Day, in which she organised a whole day packed full of wonderful and wacky activities, raising money to help end youth homelessness.
