New campaign aims to give young people the first step out of homelessness
This year has been especially challenging for young homeless people.
New research, ‘We Have a Voice, Follow Our Lead’, has been published by Homeless Link, the membership organisation for homelessness charities.
The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund has now given out £700,000 in small emergency grants of up to £10,000 to over 70 charities in every region in the UK. These funds have already made a huge difference to young homeless people.
Today, LandAid, the property industry charity, today launches an emergency fund in response to the COVID-19 crisis, to support young homeless people and the charities that support them. The fund has so far raised £170,000 and aims to raise at least £1m over the coming months.

The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund, launched on 7 April 2020, has given out its first grants to frontline charities. LandAid, the property industry charity, distributed over £100,000 to 12 charities in this first round of funding.
