What do they need help with?

Falcon Support Services runs supported housing across Leicestershire, with 115 bed spaces in 34 properties, preventing rough sleeping for nearly 250 people annually. They teach independent living skills, provide recovery and wellbeing support, and assist clients in securing longer-term accommodation. They also dedicate 15 of their beds specifically to youth homelessness.

They are now entering into a lease of a property (a former hotel) located in Hinckley, Leicestershire (Regent Street, LE10 0BA). The accommodation comprises 11 letting bedrooms (of which 2 are ensuite), one studio flat, and three one-bedroom flats. They are seeking pro bono assistance to carry out a schedule of condition survey on the property, ahead of taking on the lease. The survey is needed by 27 October 2025.

Progress so far: the property has been identified via a listing (Wards Online). The survey will help ensure they have an accurate record of the property’s condition at lease commencement and protect against future dilapidations or disputes.

They are not VAT‑registered (or cannot recover VAT), so support must be structured accordingly.

They also point to their broader strategic goals: under a new strategy, they aim to scale their work to end youth homelessness, leveraging pro bono partnerships to strengthen their property operations.
