What do they need help with?
Falcon Support Services E.M Ltd is preparing to open new supported accommodation with an integrated community day centre at 32 Wood Street, Earl Shilton, Leicester, LE9 7ND.
The property requires significant refurbishment and fit-out to transform it into a safe, welcoming and functional environment for individuals experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The planned works include:
- Installation and fit-out of a commercial kitchen
- Creation of a communal dining area
- Development of a lounge/community space
- Formation of confidential office spaces for one-to-one support
- Installation of a laundry room
- Creation of new shower and bathroom facilities
The space will provide supported accommodation for people aged 18+, with a particular focus on young people aged 18–25. Alongside safe housing, residents will have access to tailored support and AQA-accredited training in independent living skills. The community day centre element will offer a safe space for vulnerable individuals to access early intervention support, helping to prevent homelessness before crisis point.
Falcon Support Services is seeking pro bono partners to provide fit-out and decoration services, professional advice and support in securing competitive quotations for the required works. Property expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the building is safe, compliant, and designed to deliver long-term impact for the people who will rely on it.
The organisation is aiming to complete works by 30 March 2026 and is keen to engage partners who can help bring this project to life.
