Croydon based charity is seeking a rental valuation for it's Fieldway Community Centre.

What do they need help with?

The Family Centre currently occupies premises at Fieldway, New Addington, Croydon, CR0 9AZ, under a licence from Croydon Council.

The charity is seeking pro bono support from a suitably qualified chartered valuation surveyor to provide an independent rental valuation of its current premises.

The surveyor would be asked to inspect the property and consider its size, condition, location, use and relevant comparable evidence. The resulting report should provide an opinion of the property’s appropriate market rent.

This advice will help The Family Centre understand the rental value of the building it currently occupies and provide an independent evidence base for discussions with Croydon Council. It may also help the charity compare the financial implications of remaining in its current premises with the proposed move to Fieldway Community Centre.

As a small charity with limited resources, The Family Centre needs clear and impartial property advice before making decisions about its future accommodation.

About the organisation

Established in 1997, The Family Centre Fieldway New Addington supports families and residents experiencing educational, social, economic, health and housing challenges.

Its services include Community Connect, welfare rights and housing surgeries, mental health and wellbeing activities, peer support, services for older residents and the Food Stop community pantry.

The organisation works in an area with significant levels of deprivation and has built a strong reputation as a welcoming, trusted and non-judgemental community organisation. It works closely with Croydon Council and other statutory, voluntary and community partners to make support easier to access.
