Due to lockdown measures caused by COVID-19, Anah Project saw an increase in referrals and cause for support in domestic violence and abuse cases. Because of strict yet necessary isolation measures, it was virtually impossible for those affected by domestic abuse to escape it.

LandAid’s £10,000 grant provided the Anah Project’s staff with PPE to ensure they can continue working safely. This grant also helped 12 women pay for their gas electric, water rates, emergency food, travel and a tv license for six months.
