KORI Youth Charity

Thanks to the LandAid Pro Bono Programme, the charity was able to obtain 20 new laptops for their “Laptop Library” from a donation by Computers for Charity. The KORI Youth Charity support young people’s journey from childhood to adulthood, providing opportunities for growth.

The KORI Youth Charity works towards making the transition from childhood to adulthood a better experience for everyone. Their “Laptop Library” Programme allows participants and their families to have access to digital tools, addressing the digital divide. This library provides individuals with resources and equipment that can positively impact their daily lives, and enable them to complete job applications, apply for further education, conduct research and access online information.

KORI needed urgent help to be able to create their “Laptop Library”, in order to maximise the capability of young people and the resources communities have at their disposal.

The Role of our Pro Bono Programme

Through the LandAid Pro Bono Programme, KORI Youth Charity was able to successfully create their “Laptop Library” with 20 brand new laptops donated by Computers for Charities. Now, the programme can continue to impact young people, providing them with critical tools that will benefit their daily lives and improve their life outcomes.

The fundraising team at KORI are so happy and grateful to receive a donation from the LandAid Trust. A Massive thank you to all of those at LandAid and the internal team at KORI for making it happen.
