The charity helps refugees and migrants rebuild their lives, creating opportunities for people who have experienced displacement, offering pathways into employment, community connection and confidence building through food, training and enterprise.

Practical resources such as catering equipment can make a real difference to how the organisation delivers its programmes and supports participants.

A Matching Moment!

A generous gesture from Frogmore has helped equip a London charity with essential items to support its community work.

Thanks to LandAid’s Pro Bono Programme, when Frogmore offered to donate a large collection of crockery, urns and glasses, we helped connect the donation with Lifeafterhummus

The match came together quickly thanks to the initiative of Ellen Macintyre from Frogmore. Determined to ensure the items reached those who could benefit most, Ellen personally arranged the delivery and even jumped in a cab to transport the donation herself.

While this was a simple act of generosity, it reflects the spirit of partnership that makes LandAid’s network so powerful. Small moments of kindness can unlock meaningful support for charities working every day to help people rebuild their lives.

Thank you to Frogmore and to Ellen Macintyre for making this thoughtful donation possible.

As supporters of LandAid, who kindly put us in touch with Lifeafterhummus, it meant that we could donate a lot of our unused items to help make a difference to those who need it most. We were able to arrange for the items to be dropped to the community centre where the team were there to receive them and ensure they were handled with care. So hopefully any more items that we will no longer require in the future I can always ask them first.
Ellen Macintyre, Frogmore.
The items have been flying off the shelves in our room of things. It's always so helpful to have good quality pre-loved kitchen ware and household items. Thank you for the support for our little community in Somers Town.
Farrah Rainfly, Operations Manager at Lifeafterhummus Community Benefit Society.
