NOAH (New Opportunities and Horizons) is a Luton-based charity working across Bedfordshire offering hope and support to people struggling against homelessness and exclusion.
For 30 years NOAH has been working to provide support for people with complex needs who have nowhere else to turn. Their staff, volunteers, partners, and benefactors, provide a combination that is dedicated to recognising the potential in people who are on the margins of society and helping them to realise it.
The charity was facing a legal challenge from one of their contractors as the result of needing to put their building project on hold, due to funding issues caused by rising costs.
At LandAid we were able to match them with law firm Birketts LLP who kindly agreed to review the case through pro bono support.

Through the legal advice that they brokered, we gained certainty as to our legal rights and obligations, and were able to reach a fair settlement to a complicated issue. We saved several thousand pounds, which will enable us to support many people into more stable accommodation or employment.
