The Benjamin Foundation, OVO Foundation’s Charity Partner in Norfolk, has acquired two three-bedroom properties and LandAid’s £50,000 grant will go towards the renovation and refit of these properties.
The Future Builders programme is an innovative live-in training programme in which OVO Foundation (who are funding the revenue costs in this project) work with youth homelessness charities to acquire semi-derelict properties and then identify a training provider to give young people access to pre-apprenticeship and traineeship programmes, signpost young people to additional bursaries and help them find an apprenticeship, employment or further training.
