Over three months The Amber Foundation saw youth unemployment amongst its client group increase significantly. This resulted in even more demand for its services. The Amber Foundation saw some young people that have benefitted from its services in the past and left for employment to be referred again.
LandAid’s £7,103 grant provided temporary accommodation for two young, homeless people, access to a counsellor and facilities, as well as food and living expenses. This grant also helped to cover the cost of Amber’s programme of support and additional costs of PPE equipment for staff supporting young people with symptoms.
