LandAid’s £74,879 grant helped to renovate Winston Court, the foundation’s their supported accommodation service for 16-25 year olds in North Norfolk, which has 9 bed spaces and 6 semi-independent living flats.
The work modernised and updated 9 bed spaces and upgrading the bathroom suites, shared and communal space, which includes a large communal kitchen, communal lounge and a games/activity room, and the external environment.
The work enabled the young people to feel more pride in where they live and be enthused to work on their personal life quality goals, in partnership with their dedicated support worker.
The project provides a safe environment for young people to live in, with 24-hour support. Each young person has their own personal development plan, focused on their pathway to independence.
