Voices From Care Cymru aim to improve the conditions, promote the views and protect the interests of young people in care. Any young person, who is or has been looked after in Wales, is welcome to become a member of Voices From Care Cymru, with the aim to make sure that young people are heard by the decision makers in Wales.
With this grant from LandAid, Voices From Care Cymru are able to address the issue of young people being placed by local authorities into unsuitable and, often unsafe accommodation. The grant will enable them to secure private rented tenancies for young people, where they can feel safe, supported and take more ownership over their own lives.
