Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire Nightstop and Mediation Service is part of Nightstop UK, each providing safe, emergency accommodation in volunteers’ homes for homeless young people aged 16-25. They also offer mediation and education to give young people more opportunities.
With this grant from LandAid, the charity will be able to create a fund for initial rent deposits and/or rent in advance for young people aged 18 to 25 who are being supported by the Nightstop service. Young people would be able to access this grant to enable them to either move on from Nightstop accommodation or to enter independent accommodation if Nightstop is not suitable for their needs.
