The LandAid 10K calls on runners of all abilities to join the race to end youth homelessness! Now with a new 5K course, there's more than one way you can take part in property's biggest running event. Ahead of this year's race, we asked some of last year's trophy winners for their top tips for race day success:
LandAid is calling on runners to take on property's toughest 10K. The race, sponsored by St. Modwen, will take place on Friday 14 September in Longbridge, Birmingham. All funds raised will go towards the aim of ending youth homelessness in the Midlands.
LandAid held its third annual LandAid Ambassador Awards last night at the Walkie-Talkie' to highlight the achievements of property's rising stars in helping to end youth homelessness.
Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored and helped me raise more than £5,000 so far. I am going to continue fundraising until my 50th birthday on 22nd June by which time I hope to achieve my £10,000 target.
Attending the MIPIM Conference in Cannes was something that filled me with excitement, looking forward to the raft of opportunities that lay ahead. Being in the charity sector, there aren't many opportunities to travel to Cannes on business! Whilst attending MIPIM is a fabulous opportunity and one that would provide endless contacts and opportunities for LandAid, it also posed potential risks to attendees and organisations alike.
