Wednesday 6 November saw the LandAid Gala Dinner return for second year to The Londoner Hotel for a brilliant night of Olympic themed celebration and vital fundraising.
We are delighted that William Sieghart CBE, founder and Chair of StreetSmart, has joined the LandAid Patrons Network. We invited him to speak to us about StreetSmart, what the campaign means to him, and how LandAid’s supporters can help boost the fundraising campaign.
The grants will support over 40 charities and over 1,000 young people in London and hundreds more across the UK on their journey out of homelessness towards a brighter and more stable future.
On Saturday 14 September, the property industry came together for the LandAid Trek, raising an impressive £93,000 to support our mission to end youth homelessness. A total of 127 participants from across the property sector gathered to take on a 27km journey through the stunning Welsh Black Mountains and virtually across the UK.
An innovative housing scheme providing specialist support to young people experiencing mental health challenges, funded by LandAid; SEGRO; the UK Real Estate Investment Trust; Property Race Day; The Story of Christmas Appeal; and the Greater London Authority has opened in West London.
Salford Foyer, run by Places for People, is set to boost its support for young people experiencing homelessness in the North West, with funding from LandAid, to build six new modular homes.
LandAid extends partnership with Eversheds Sutherland with support for the next three years to support youth homelessness projects across the UK.
