Faversham Pools is a multi-pool complex in the heart of Faversham’s town centre operating year-round.

As a registered charity, they are committed to promoting physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing, as well as safety, through swimming and education opportunities. They are the only outdoor pool in Kent to open year-round, offering cold-water swimming through the winter and are the last remaining outdoor pool in the UK with 1m, 3m and 5m diving boards.

In addition to recreational activities, the Pools play a key role in the local community by offering training and employment opportunities, increasing footfall for other local businesses and by being a place for locals to swim and socialise. The Pools attract thousands of swimmers each year, with up to 200,000 annual admissions in a year. The Pools are used by 25 local schools to deliver the statutory Key Stage 2 National Swimming Curriculum. Additionally, the Pools cater to a diverse range of community groups, individuals and families. A variety of classes welcome swimmers of all ages and their in-house Swim School plays a pivotal role in teaching up to 700 local children and adults a week a vital life skill that enhances health and wellbeing.

They work to encourage healthier lifestyles for the residents of Faversham and surrounding areas and their core values have always remained the same- developing their charity and facility to benefit their community and make them proud while ensuring swimming is affordable, safe, and accessible to all.

Faversham Pools require pro bono marketing support to help improve their website.

Their current website while functional, is dated and no longer meets the expectations of their customers and supporters. Their aim for a new website is to increase visibility, leading to more custom and donations.

The current challenges in addition to the outdated design include; non user friendly formatting, difficult to navigate and limited functionality for donations.

They recognise for them to effectively create a stronger brand, they must consider what is a first point of call for their customers/supporters.
